Stiles makes final pitch to Toronto voters

TORONTO – With just one day before voters go to the polls, Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles was at Wychwood Barns in Toronto today to talk with families, workers and supporters about electing the NDPs’ strong Toronto team and winning an NDP government that is on their side.

“It’s the last day of an exceptional campaign. The first winter election since 1883. And the first election where the premier is under criminal investigation by the RCMP.

We won’t know the outcome of the Greenbelt investigation before people go to the polls, but we know one thing. It’s time for Doug Ford’s years of corruption and scandal to go. And in its place – an NDP government who will be on your side to fight rising costs, to fix our health care and build more homes.

In Toronto, your vote has real power.

The power to change how things are. The power to re-elect strong New Democrat MPPs in Toronto who will fight rising costs, defend health care and stand up for our city. The power to elect a government at Queen’s Park that understands Toronto’s needs and will be partner instead of an adversary."
