Stiles kicks off session with fiery question period focused on Doug Ford’s jobs disaster

QUEEN’S PARK — The 44th Parliament returned to Queen’s Park today, and Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles wasted no time holding Premier Doug Ford to account for his government’s jobs disaster and shady deals:

“Nearly 800,000 Ontarians are out of work while Doug Ford is busy playing Batman in Home Depot parking lots. Will it take a million people to be unemployed before the Premier starts taking this seriously?

“Even after an extended break, it’s clear that nothing has changed with this government. The Labour Minister can't seem to stay out of the headlines. Whether it’s partying with lobbyists at Parisian weddings, or sitting in their rinkside seats, Ford's labour minister will do anything but answer for the mess that he has created.

"Ontario is in the middle of a jobs disaster, and it’s time for Doug Ford to take action and actually show up for Ontario’s workers.”
