Windsor West deserves a government that respects workers.

Our economy relies on our workers. And that work deserves to be recognized and respected.

But here in Windsor, the Liberal government sat on the sidelines for more than 15 years while more than 300,000 manufacturing jobs left the province. In other industries, work is low-paid, part-time and insecure. And we know Doug Ford's plan to roll back minimum wage and cut services will hurt workers, not help them.

It doesn’t have to be this way. We don’t need to settle between bad and worse.

The NDP has a proven record of standing up for workers.

Only Lisa Gretzky and Andrea Horwath will implement a plan to grow auto and manufacturing jobs in Ontario. An NDP government will raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, deliver dental and prescription drug benefits for everyone – including part-time and contract workers – protect temporary workers, and make it easier to join a union. And we’ll change Ontario’s minimum vacation to three weeks instead of two.
